Accounting Manager
to lead the day-to-day accounting operations, manage financial reporting, and oversee cash management functions. This
newly created role
will report directly to the President and will supervise a team of three. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in accounting principles and leadership capabilities. This position offers a
clear path to advancement , with the expectation that the Accounting Manager will grow into the
Controller role within the next 12 months
as the company continues to scale. Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Manage financial statement preparation and internal reporting packages Oversee cash management, including daily cash flow monitoring and forecasting Ensure timely and accurate posting of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial data Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Manage and mentor a team of three accounting staff Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners Partner cross-functionally with operations, HR, and leadership to support business decisions Support budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with executive leadership Assist in the selection and implementation of new accounting systems or automation tools as needed Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (required) 3–7 years of progressive accounting experience Public accounting experience and/or prior supervisory experience are
strong pluses CPA designation is a plus but not required Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Proven leadership skills and ability to develop and mentor a team Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) Why Join Us?
