The Associate will be a part of a diverse team of highly talented investment professionals allowing for high exposure and visibility. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required with a strong record of academic success 1-3 years of investment banking at an investment bank required Strong modeling, analytical, valuation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to key internal/external stakeholders Must have a team-player attitude and a desire to work on a wide range of projects Desire to live in Dallas, TX. (If not from Dallas, Texas ties strongly preferred) Responsibilities
Building and maintaining financial and operational models Conducting due diligence on new potential investments and their associated industries Transaction-related activities include strategic operational analysis, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and financing of platform and add-on transactions, as well as the implementation of operational improvements post-close Drafting investment committee presentation materials Drive operational improvements and strategic initiatives Drive evaluation of prospective add-on acquisition targets and execute add-on transactions Assisting with portfolio company operations and reporting Additional responsibilities on an ad hoc basis Seniority level
