Base pay range $115,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Our client is looking to hire a Middle Office Associate to join their team. This company is based in Greenwich CT with $120BB AUM focused on equities and alternatives, providing investment management services to both institutional clients and financial advisors. The company's systematic, research-driven approach applies quantitative tools to process fundamental information and manage risk and also offers a variety of quantitatively driven alternative and traditional investment vehicles, enabling clients to receive long-term results and ideas that stand up to rigorous testing. This is a hybrid position!

Responsibilities

Contribute to procedures and controls that ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting and regulatory filings.

Maintain accurate accounting records in line with GAAP, implement accounting policies, oversee NAV analytics, and monitor expense and tax accruals.

Manage relationships with vendors involved in the financial reporting process, including fund administrators.

Perform and document walkthroughs of key business processes, design control mappings, and conduct risk assessments.

Monitor developments in US GAAP and Lux GAAP, providing financial analysis and guidance to management.

Lead or participate in fund-related initiatives as needed.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA, Chartered Accountant, or ACCA preferred.

1–5 years of experience in the investment management industry, Big 4 public accounting, or related industry experience preferred.

Strong technical and business knowledge of U.S. investment companies and various fund types (e.g., mutual funds, collective investment trusts, UCITS, AIFs) and structures (Master/Feeder, multi-class, etc.).

Solid understanding of investment, operational, regulatory, accounting, and financial reporting activities.

Strong financial reporting background required.

In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles/procedures.
