Financial Analyst Position Overview
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a vital role on SunVest’s Finance team that supports every other functional area. The two primary functional areas are Structured Finance and Financial Planning & Analysis. You will work with third-party financiers, lenders, and equity investors; prepare forecasts and analyses; understand key value drivers; and support executive decision making. This role provides a well-rounded perspective of the key financial functions to prepare for a full-time position within one of these verticals and offers growth in a dynamic, sustainability-focused industry. What We’re Looking For
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Actuarial or related field. Master’s degree is a plus but not required. Financial:
Strong financial acumen and interest in financial analysis and capital markets. Financial Tools:
Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint and financial modeling tools. Problem-Solving:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset for process improvements. Collaboration:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with teams and stakeholders. Project Management:
Outstanding organizational and time management skills for a fast-paced environment. Passion:
