Title : Senior Billing / Accounts Receivable Accountant Schedule : 4 days onsite (Mon–Thu), 1 day remote (Fri) Pay : $35 - $45 Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Billing / Accounts Receivable Accountant to support our finance operations, billing, and receivables functions. This role is critical in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across financial processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Manage customer billing and receivables processes, including customer balance oversight and grants prepaid billing. Provide day-to-day support for record-to-report management activities and overall finance operations. Contribute to period-end close activities and grants accounting functions. Support statutory and regulatory reporting requirements, including capital funding alignment. Assist with audit responses and sub-ledger accounting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance and operational efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in billing, receivables, or financial operations. At least 2 years in a senior-level accounting, analyst, or auditor role. Experience working with financial institutions, government entities (federal, state, or local), or public/private sectors. CPA or CIA certification preferred. Experience with PeopleSoft Finance preferred.
