Overview

Senior Consultant – Project Controls Spire is currently seeking a Senior Consultant with strong construction scheduling and cost management experience to provide support for current and future projects. Primary duties will be to provide end-to-end support for all project controls functions including schedule management, risk management, earned value management, and cost & change management on assigned projects. Additionally, will support project teams in overall project management and project controls systems implementation in the development, tracking, forecasting, analysis, and reporting of project costs, schedules, and key performance indicators and dashboards. Responsibilities

Review contract, specifications, and drawings to confirm design and construction schedule baselines and updates for comprehensiveness, quality, and constructability and risk. Develop and implement cost administration and reporting systems including estimates, budgets, schedules, manhour, cost, and earned value reports. Develop Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules. Review critical path, cost loading, schedule content and forecasted work. Identify relationships, constraints, optimal sequence of work, and milestones within project work schedule. Perform schedule impact analysis for change orders. QA/QC review of schedule submissions for conformance. Prepare reports as needed and directed by Management. Provide support and assistance with Company business development efforts. Ensure all project control procedures are in place and being followed. Education/Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or related discipline 5+ years of project controls experience Skills

Proficiency in Primavera P6. Intermediate to advanced understanding of key scheduling principles and concepts. Strong interpersonal skills, creative solution, and problem-solving skills. Understanding of project management processes and procedures. High degree of initiative, personal responsibility, and integrity. Positive, team-oriented attitude; willing to pitch in wherever needed to assist the team. Experience or ability to learn standard industry tools such as Timberline, RS means and MS project. Possess a strong entrepreneurial drive and the desire to continually enhance professional capabilities with minimal supervision. Have strong writing and communication skills, attention to detail and exceptional analytic abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting required goals and deadlines. Be open to travel approximately 50% of the time for projects, as needed.
