Spire Consulting Group, LLC Overview Spire is seeking a Senior Consultant with strong construction scheduling and cost management experience to provide support for current and future projects. Primary duties include end-to-end support for project controls functions such as schedule management, risk management, earned value management, and cost & change management on assigned projects. Support project teams in project management and project controls systems implementation, including development, tracking, forecasting, analysis, and reporting of project costs, schedules, and KPIs and dashboards. Position Summary Senior Consultant with strong construction scheduling and cost management experience to provide support for current and future projects. Primary duties: end-to-end support for all project controls functions including schedule management, risk management, earned value management, and cost & change management on assigned projects; support project teams in development, tracking, forecasting, analysis, and reporting of project costs, schedules, and KPIs and dashboards. Responsibilities Review contract, specifications, and drawings to confirm design and construction schedule baselines and updates for comprehensiveness, quality, constructability, and risk. Develop and implement cost administration and reporting systems including estimates, budgets, schedules, manhour, cost, and earned value reports. Develop Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules. Review critical path, cost loading, schedule content and forecasted work. Identify relationships, constraints, optimal sequence of work, and milestones within project schedules. Perform schedule impact analysis for change orders. QA/QC review of schedule submissions for conformance. Prepare reports as needed and directed by Management. Provide support and assistance with company business development efforts. Ensure all project control procedures are in place and followed. Education/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or related discipline 5+ years of project controls experience Skills Proficiency in Primavera P6 Intermediate to advanced understanding of key scheduling principles and concepts Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and written communication skills Understanding of project management processes and procedures High degree of initiative, personal responsibility, and integrity Positive, team-oriented attitude; willingness to contribute as needed Experience with Timberline, RS means and MS Project is a plus Entrepreneurial drive and ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects while meeting goals and deadlines Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time, as needed Perks/Benefits Health coverage for employee and family (medical, dental, vision) Unlimited PTO and holidays Insurance including accident, life, and disability 401(k) plan with generous match up to 6% FSA and HSA options Professional development budget Employee assistance program Community service opportunities Company social events and outings Spire Consulting Group, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to excellence through diversity.
