Overview
Palantir Engineer - Manager - Consulting - Location Open
is a hands-on, technically oriented Manager role focused on delivering data-driven insights and solutions to Industrials & Energy clients using Palantir Foundry tools and other modern data platforms. This is a high-growth, high-visibility role with opportunities to shape data strategies across client operations. Travel may be required regularly based on client needs. Responsibilities
Understand and analyze business requirements to translate them into technical requirements. Design, build, and operate scalable data architecture and modeling solutions. Stay up to date with the latest trends in analytics, data governance, and Palantir technologies. Build solutions using Palantir Foundry components (Pipeline Builder, Workshop, AIP Agent Studio, Contour, Quiver) and other Foundry tools. Lead technical delivery while managing client relationships and global teams; ensure quality and risk management. Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective data architectures in collaboration with enterprise architects and IT. Oversee cloud-based data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Hadoop) for ingestion, storage, and processing. Drive design and implementation of analytical models, data pipelines, and visualizations to generate actionable insights. Engage with clients daily, participate in working sessions, and identify opportunities for additional services. Mentor a multidisciplinary team of analysts, engineers, and data stewards to deliver high-quality outcomes. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred in a quantitative or technical field (statistics, computer science, engineering, mathematics) with prior consulting experience or Industrials & Energy sector experience preferred. At least 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, data governance, or data strategy, preferably in industrial, energy, or related sectors. At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry (Pipeline Builder, Workshop, AIP Agent Studio, Contour, Quiver) and related tools. Deep knowledge of data governance, including data quality, stewardship, compliance, and policy creation. Proficiency with SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, Dataiku, or similar tools. Experience with big data and cloud platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Hadoop). Ability to lead technical delivery and manage small teams; strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Passion for mentoring and building high-performing data teams; understanding of regulatory and data privacy implications in industrial or energy sectors. A valid U.S. driver’s license and willingness to travel to client locations as needed. Nice-to-have
Certifications in Palantir, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, or related platforms. Experience with Data Office Organization and IT Architecture. Familiarity with Digital Fluency and Hybrid Collaboration techniques. Strong emotional intelligence to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics.
