$20–$22/hour A well-established legal firm in the heart of downtown Miami is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, onsite direct hire opportunity offering a professional work environment and long-term stability.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and legal staff
Draft, edit, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate court filings and deadlines
Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and physical)
Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and client inquiries professionally
Assist with billing, timekeeping, and expense tracking
Conduct basic legal research and document retrieval
Uphold confidentiality and ensure compliance with legal procedures
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in a legal administrative or legal assistant role
Familiarity with legal terminology and document formatting standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
High school diploma or equivalent required; legal certification or training preferred
