Overview
Innovative Driven is currently seeking a mid-level attorney with at least four years of experience in complex litigation to join the collaborative and inclusive team at a full-service law firm client based in Cleveland, Ohio. The role will be onsite to begin, but the firm allows hybrid/remote flexibility once the attorney is fully up to speed with his/her practice. Additionally, the firm has highly reasonable billable hour expectations. Bonus eligibility begins when reaching 1500. Responsibilities
Assist and facilitate case strategies from inception to resolution Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, answers, discovery requests Participate in the development of a strategy for written and deposition discovery Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and litigation tactics Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations Manage discovery, preparing and responding to document requests, subpoenas, and interrogatories Review and summarize case files, deposition transcripts, and other materials Participate in trial preparation, including witness preparation, exhibits, and case organization Collaborate with senior attorneys Attend court hearings, pretrial conferences, and trials as needed Maintain accurate records and case documentation Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Active Admission to practice law in Ohio At least 4 years of litigation Federal court experience is a plus Experience with all Microsoft Office and 365 and Outlook Experience in legal research software such as Lexis Nexis/Westlaw or other Compensation and Benefits
Base pay range : $125,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr The firm offers a highly competitive salary and performance-based bonuses. The benefits package includes health, dental, vision, HSA, Short and Long Term leave, EAP and retirement plans. Generous paid time off and holiday policy.
