Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and optimize algorithms for Walmart’s Last Mile Delivery platform Analyze large-scale logistics and delivery datasets to generate actionable insights Implement machine learning models to improve delivery efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance both customer and driver experiences Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to translate business needs into effective data science solutions Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business KPIs Why Join Us Be part of the team driving Walmart’s delivery innovation. in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science 3–5 years
of experience in data science, machine learning, or logistics optimization Proficiency in
large dataset mining tools
and open-source programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL) Strong
problem-solving mindset
with the ability to address both structured and unstructured problems Excellent communication skills
for cross-functional collaboration Experience in the
retail or customer delivery industry

Paid time off benefits include PTO (including sick leave), parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Minimum Qualifications
Option 1 : Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 3 years' experience in an analytics related field.
Option 2 : Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 1 years' experience in an analytics related field.
Option 3 : 5 years' experience in an analytics or related field. As permitted by applicable law, provide evidence of full vaccination as defined by CDC guidelines OR secure approval of medical or religious accommodation for the vaccination mandate. Preferred Qualifications
