Overview / Career Path As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins with obtaining your Securities Industry licenses, including dedicated classes for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 exams. You will be taught foundational skills to be an advisor—acquiring, building and managing client relationships, considering a client’s complex financial picture, and guiding them with advice and solutions to help them live their best financial lives while humanizing financial interactions. After achieving key milestones, you will work in a financial center to deliver Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions, and client care. We will equip you with everything you need as you move through the stages of development.

Upon successful Licensure as a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I, you will typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where you will grow and deepen relationships within a portfolio of clients. The Academy will support you with dedicated programs, tools, and resources throughout your career journey. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements.

Responsibilities

Build a successful career at Bank of America through world-class training and onboarding programs.

Receive training and one-on-one coaching from Academy managers who are invested in your success.

Grow business knowledge by using a defined consultative approach with clients to identify needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Earn SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses (63 & 65 accepted in lieu of 66) with defined study timelines; obtain SIE within 30 days of hire and Series 7 & 66 within 120 days.

Build your network by interacting with banking customers, small business owners, and higher net worth clients within a financial center.

Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice, deliver client reviews/presentations, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve financial goals.

Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients to solutions offered by Bank of America and Merrill.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses; self-discipline in managing time and capacity; experience in cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions; ability to build strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration; results-driven mindset prioritizing clients’ interests in a complex, fast-paced environment; willingness to learn and adapt to new technology.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.

Compensation & Benefits (New Jersey) New Jersey pay range:

$28.85 - $33.65 hourly pay, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

This role is compensated with a base salary and is not incentive eligible.
