As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins with obtaining your Securities Industry licenses, including the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams. You will receive dedicated classes and guidance to develop foundational advisory skills—building and managing client relationships, assessing a client’s financial picture, and providing advice and solutions to help clients pursue their financial goals, while maintaining a client-focused, humanized approach. After achieving key milestones, you will work in a financial center to deliver Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions, and client care. We will equip you with the resources needed as you progress through the stages of development. Upon successful licensing, you may advance to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where you continue to apply your skills within a growing client portfolio. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. All employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. You will be required to register and complete the SAFE Act background check and registration process. Failure to obtain or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in termination. We’ll help you

Receive training and one-on-one coaching from Academy managers who are invested in your success. Grow your business knowledge by using a defined consultative approach with clients to identify needs and appropriate solutions. Earn your SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses (63 and 65 accepted in lieu of 66) with structured lessons and dedicated study time. You must obtain your SIE within 30 days of hiring and your Series 7 and 66 within 120 days. Build your network by engaging with banking customers, small business owners, and higher net worth clients, leveraging relationships to grow your business. Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice, deliver client reviews/presentations, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals. Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients with solutions across Bank of America and Merrill. Qualifications
Required Qualifications Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses. Self-discipline in managing time and capacity. Experience in cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions. Ability to build strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration. Results-driven mindset with client interests prioritized in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology or applications. Desired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and/or at least one year of financial services industry or sales experience. Pay and benefits information: Illinois pay range $28.85 - $33.65 hourly; offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
