Dunn Carney’s Estate Planning & Administration Team is expanding! We are seeking an estate planning and probate attorney with 3-5 years of experience who is comfortable managing their own caseload, communicating effectively with clients and opposing counsel, conducting legal research to analyze issues and stay up to date on changes in relevant law, and handling matters with professionalism and care.
The preferred candidate will have experience assisting with drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents; providing support for probate and trust administration matters from start to finish; and meeting with clients to assess estate and tax planning goals, develop tailored legal solutions, and advise clients on strategies for achieving those objectives.
We are seeking a self-starter who is actively engaged in their own career development and is dedicated to delivering excellent, client-focused legal services. The preferred candidate should possess the following qualifications:
Strong oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
Well-developed legal research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
Demonstrated organizational and time-management competencies including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Willingness to take ownership and primary responsibility for assigned matters, and work collaboratively with others.
Belief in the value of diversity and teamwork.
Admission to practice in Oregon is required; admission to practice in Washington is preferable.
