RuralEdge is a non-profit affordable housing and community development corporation that has served the Northeast Kingdom for over 30 years. Our mission is to strengthen Northeast Kingdom communities, one home at a time. This position is Full Time: requires 1720 hours of service for an average of 40 hours per week for 47 weeks. Member will receive a living allowance of $30,500 (pre-tax), and an education award of $7,395 (pre-tax) upon successful completion of service. Member Duties :

• Develop a thorough understanding of the HomeOwnership Center's programs and services, with a focus on homebuyer education, financial capability, and housing stabilization. Provide information and support for individuals interested in home education programs and services. • Facilitate intake and triage process for clients seeking assistance with financial counseling programs; includes application assistance, information gathering, and uploading relevant documentation. • Create and deliver online workshops, informational sessions, outreach materials highlighting Shared Equity Homeownership. • Conduct outreach efforts to promote the HomeOwneship Center, including advertising, networking with community agencies, and coordinating special events. • Participate in all VHCB AmeriCorps Events, & Program Initiatives. • Engage in professional & personal development activities & networking opportunities.
