Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team Providing education to patients, carers, and staff Assisting with audits and establishing new protocols Completing accurate documentation Preparing and coordinating clinics Administering phototherapy Supporting minor surgical procedures Delivering patch testing Performing medical photography Providing wound care and topical treatments Mentoring new staff and students Engaging in research and evidence-based care Maintaining CPD and NMC revalidation requirements Qualifications and Experience
Registered Nurse (NMC) Basic IT skills Evidence of willingness to undertake courses relevant to dermatology care Teaching qualification Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and best practice Understanding of NMC Code of Practice Empathetic and caring approach to patients and relatives Previous experience in nursing, particularly in an acute setting and dermatology Please note: Applicants who do not currently have the right to work in the UK may not be considered unless an alternative right to work solution can be provided.
