As a

CyberSecurity Analyst , you are a technical expert responsible for enforcing corporate risk management policies while leading the development and implementation of advanced security solutions. This position oversees securing the organization's networks, endpoints, identity and access management (IDAM), security information and event monitoring (SIEM), threat intelligence, and forensic analysis. As the Cyber Security Analyst, you will be instrumental in the monitoring of systems, management of security incidents and responses, adherence to policies, verification of compliance to obtain industry certifications, and assurance of compliance with regulatory requirements. This role reports to Director of Security and Compliance while working with cross-functional teams to align cybersecurity initiatives with business strategies and objectives.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Lanham, MD office

Your Impact:

Provide hands-on support for a wide range of security technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, HIDS, DLP, malware analysis and protection, content filtering, logical access controls, identity and access management, and vulnerability scanners. Implement and support our computing environment, which includes servers, laptops, desktops, and other devices. This environment consists of highly virtualized Microsoft Windows and Linux servers, MS SQL Server, Office 365, and various other systems. Ensure all software and hardware are upgraded, legally compliant, and supported. Meet security requirements as defined by the Director of Security and Compliance. Monitor and analyze security alerts and reports, escalating as appropriate. Identify system anomalies and generate standard reports. Stay aware of new and emerging technologies. Ensure proper use and protection of information assets by complying with the organization's information privacy and security policies, reporting any security events or potential risks. Monitor High alert issues in a 24x7x365 environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Your Profile:

Bachelor's or Master's degree, including 3+ years of experience in an IT-related field Knowledge of systems logging methods and technologies. Understanding of SIEM concepts, tools, and utilities. Experience with cybersecurity tools, processes, and procedures. Strong communication skills and ability to author technical documentation. Familiarity with IT security systems. Ability to work independently. Strong interpersonal communication skills Organized, Initiative-taking, and detail-oriented
