As an Advanced Project Engineer in the heat transfer engineering team, you will be integral in the in-service product support of heat transfer equipment leveraged across commercial and defense platforms. You will be involved in every aspect of the in-service product life cycle, from production support, value engineering, internal review boards, and supplier readiness technical support. You will coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration to drive improvements to RTY and reduce scrap. By creating or coordinating the creation of data based corrective actions, you will ensure effective manufacturing improvements. You will report directly to the Heat Transfer Engineering Program Manager. You will be based out of our Torrance, California location in building 36 and work a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities

• U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS: Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization. • Support the in-service product life cycle, including production support, value engineering, and supplier readiness technical support. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in RTY and reduce scrap through data-based corrective actions. • Report to the Heat Transfer Engineering Program Manager and operate from the Torrance, CA location with a hybrid schedule. Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering from an accredited institution. 3+ years of product/manufacturing engineering experience with plate/fin heat exchangers. WE VALUE Strong management operating system that facilitates communication, team building and collaboration. Ability to create specific action plans, prioritize time and resources effectively. Self-motivated with the ability to work with little supervision and take initiative. Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for topic and audience, internally and externally. Ability to convey technical ideas through team discussions, presentations, and writing. Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing project requirements. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Good people skills and ability to work with other engineering organizations. Benefits
