As a Credit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the credit granting process, assessing the creditworthiness of potential customers, and ensuring that the company’s credit policies and procedures are followed. You will play a key role in managing the company’s credit risk and maintaining a healthy accounts receivable portfolio.

Responsibilities/ Duties/ Functions/ Tasks

Credit Assessment: Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential customers by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information.

Credit Policies: Develop, implement, and maintain credit policies and procedures to minimize credit risk and ensure compliance with company standards.

Credit Approval: Approve or deny credit applications based on established criteria and credit policies.

Collections Management: Monitor accounts receivable and manage the collection process to ensure timely payments.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential credit risks, recommending strategies to reduce exposure to bad debt.

Customer Relations: Maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing any credit-related inquiries or issues.

Reporting: Prepare regular reports on credit and collections activities, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

Team Leadership: Supervise and train credit and collections staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to company policies.

Perform normal supervisor duties, including scheduling PTO requests, coordinating training, conducting performance reviews, and advising on compensation.

Coach, Mentor and Manage the careers of each team member on a regular basis

Regular travel to other Revere locations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (CFA or other relevant certification ).

Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit management or a related role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position required

Skills:

Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

In-depth knowledge of credit analysis and risk management principles.

Proficiency in credit management software and financial analysis tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.
