What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize sales opportunities within the assigned territory - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to understand their needs and drive incremental revenue - Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within customer organizations - Effectively manage territory activities, including prospecting, lead generation, and sales forecasting - Stay informed about industry trends and gather customer feedback to inform sales strategies
What is Required (Qualifications): - Minimum of two (2) years of proven successful sales experience in telephone sales, personal selling, and customer service - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field - Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation skills, and closing strategies - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and telephone skills - Proficiency with MS Office software and CRM technology
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Experience in the educational publishing industry or similar market - Proven track record of success in sales with a focus on revenue growth - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams - Familiarity with telecommuting software such as Zoom, WebEx, or Microsoft Teams - Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
