Overview Pay Range: $90.89hr - $94.89hr

The National Account Manager will be responsible for driving product and program placement across Toys, Hardlines, Food, and Beverage categories. This role requires a strong understanding of consumer products, eCommerce, and retail strategies—particularly for Target and Amazon. The individual will serve as the leading authority on retail strategy and execution, developing actionable plans that maximize IP placement and revenue, while building strong relationships with retail partners and licensees.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement retail placement strategies for Universal IP products across Toys, Hardlines, Food, and Beverage categories.

Create business plans grounded in data, retail and consumer insights, IP prioritization, category strategies, and XX space opportunities.

Serve as the Target and Amazon expert for the business, acting as the key authority on category, departmental, and corporate retail strategies.

Monitor sales trends, competitive landscapes, and organizational changes at key retailers, providing timely updates and action plans to internal stakeholders.

Lead internal and external kick-off meetings, ensuring IP prioritization and asset/product development needs are aligned with retailer opportunities.

Drive and manage merchant meeting agendas, presentations, and deliver comprehensive recaps for all stakeholders.

Build and maintain strong relationships with licensees’ retail account teams to support sell-in of client IP and identify opportunities for growth.

Regularly review licensee performance and recommend adjustments based on buyer feedback and market opportunities.

Track and prioritize product placement for marketing program development, ensuring alignment with key timelines.

Demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking, proposing new ways to optimize go-to-market strategies, processes, and program execution.

Adapt quickly to dynamic priorities, handling a wide range of responsibilities with resilience and versatility.

Manage travel and entertainment budgets while ensuring timely expense reporting.

Willingness to travel as needed, sometimes on short notice.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.

10+ years of national account sales experience within Toys, Hardlines, Food, or Beverage categories.

Prior Target and/or Amazon account management experience strongly preferred.

Strong Skill Set

Solution-based selling and relationship management.

Strong presentation skills, comfortable with both small and large audiences.

Strategic planning, analytical thinking, and project management expertise.

Knowledge of eCommerce best practices and digital retail strategies.

Deep understanding of retail marketing principles, promotional partnerships, and consumer product business models.

Strong ability to collaborate across teams and organizations.
