Overview

We are engaged by a VC backed Insurtech AI analytics company with recent funding, rapid scale, and a highly unique product disrupting its space. The platform delivers actionable underwriting and claims intelligence to carriers, MGAs, and brokers. We are hiring a Sales Director to own a segment, build pipeline, close strategic deals, and help shape the go to market as the company scales. What you will do

Own new business across an assigned territory or vertical and deliver against an annual quota Build and manage a high quality pipeline through targeted outbound, events, partners, and ABM programs Run discovery, craft value hypotheses, and lead proofs of value that convert to production deals Navigate enterprise procurement, legal, and InfoSec in regulated environments Partner with product, data science, and solutions engineering to align models and analytics to customer outcomes Lead pricing and packaging strategy with a focus on unit economics and retention Maintain accurate forecasts, stage definitions, and coverage targets with disciplined CRM hygiene Establish executive relationships with carriers, MGAs, and brokers and become a trusted advisor What success looks like in the first year

Consistent quota attainment with two or more referenceable flagship wins A clean, inspectable pipeline with at least three times coverage and predictable conversion by stage Proof of value to production conversion times reduced quarter over quarter Clear expansion plans in won accounts with defined champions and timelines Repeatable messaging and use cases documented with product and marketing What you bring

Five to ten years of enterprise SaaS sales with at least three years in insurance or adjacent risk analytics Proven record closing six and seven figure deals with complex buying groups Strong command of value selling and business case creation for underwriting, pricing, or claims leaders Comfort with data products, APIs, and model performance concepts and translating them to business impact Fluency with Salesforce and outreach tools and a structured methodology such as MEDDICC or Challenger Clear and direct communication, strong writing, and disciplined follow up Builder mindset with the ability to improve the playbook while executing it Why this opportunity
