The Maintenance Engineer responds to and completes all general maintenance requests for room calls, public areas, meeting rooms, back of house, physical plant, and exterior areas of the property. This position reports to the Engineering Manager. Applications for this position will be accepted until October 12, 2025. Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities

Respond to and complete all general maintenance requests as needed including all areas inside and outside of the hotel & related properties Tape, spackle, and paint walls Promptly and courteously respond to guest room calls Ensure work orders are tracked, completed, and prioritized Help plan and coordinate projects during the off season Perform safety inspections Ensure all compliance standards are met including OSHA and GHS Identify process improvements and best practice Report all safety hazards and suspicious persons or activities to management Monitor and maintain fire detection system and help with any emergency evacuation Complete work order assignments in a timely manner Interact with guests on a daily basis Other duties as assigned Qualifications

Education & Experience Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years’ experience in mechanical fields such as HVAC, electrical and/or plumbing preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, mechanical repairs, and carpentry Knowledge of company's safety procedures and protocols Basic industry terminology Ability to work some weekends and holidays Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Completes tasks and goals efficiently and effectively Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Proficiency in communicating clearly both verbally and in writing to team members and customers Ability to do basic problem-solving Additional Information

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand or be on your feet, kneel and bend for extended periods of time Regularly work in adverse conditions and required to use protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials as well as an office environment and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance Job Benefits
