Location: McLean, VA Clearance: TS/SCI w/ Poly Position Overview Key Responsibilities Writing & Editing: Draft, edit, and format documents, reports, and briefing materials for senior and Congressional audiences. Translate complex intelligence and legal content into clear, concise language tailored to policymakers. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with ODNI and IC standards. Support to Legislative & Legal Teams Collaborate with Legislative/Legal Research Leads, Legislative Liaisons, and Law Clerk/Attorneys to prepare high-quality deliverables. Provide editorial support for legal and legislative documents, ensuring clarity and compliance. Communication & Knowledge Integration Maintain awareness of ODNI priorities and IC mission objectives to accurately reflect intent in written materials. Apply strong writing and communication skills to bridge technical detail with strategic messaging. Success Factors The Ideal Candidate Will Be Clear & Concise Communicator – Translates complex topics into accessible language. Detail-Oriented & Precise – Ensures accuracy and compliance across all documents. Collaborative & Responsive – Works effectively with legal, legislative, and policy teams. Mission-Aware & Strategic – Understands IC objectives and tailors communications to Congressional needs. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Political Science, or related field. 0–15+ years of experience in technical writing, editing, or policy/legislative communications (multi-discipline levels available). Demonstrated ability to write and edit for senior or Congressional audiences. Strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred Experience supporting ODNI, IC, or DoD communications.
