What this job involves:
As an Engineering Coordinator at JLL supporting Amazon Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF), you will hold responsibility for engineering program support within assigned areas while providing back-up support for the Engineering Manager and playing a critical role in maintaining operational excellence by coordinating engineering initiatives, managing preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring seamless communication between facilities, finance, and engineering teams.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Assist Engineering Manager with administrative tasks and provide back-up support as needed for comprehensive engineering operations
Manage materials ordering through online catalogs and coordinate with engineering teams for procurement needs and supply chain management
Create and maintain Smartsheet systems for engineering initiatives and project tracking across assigned areas
Track scheduled and in-progress engineering projects while ensuring timely completion and quality delivery
Partner with Facilities and Finance Teams to provide engineering budget assistance and analysis for cost-effective operations
Analyze data trends to identify Work Order performance metrics and drive service delivery effectiveness with site-level teams
Maintain ownership of CMMS (Corrigo) Assets and oversee Preventative Maintenance Programs for optimal facility performance
Coordinate cross-functional communication between facilities, finance, and engineering teams for seamless operations
Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in project management software, particularly Smartsheet and CMMS systems (Corrigo) for comprehensive project coordination
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data trends and performance metrics for service delivery optimization
Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross-functional team collaboration across facilities, finance, and engineering
Experience with administrative support and budget management processes including materials ordering and procurement coordination
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in fast-paced engineering environments
Professional proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online procurement systems for comprehensive administrative support
Understanding of engineering program support and preventative maintenance program management
Ability to track scheduled and in-progress projects while maintaining detailed documentation and reporting
Preferred Qualifications:
Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) experience with understanding of facility systems and operations
Previous Planner/Scheduler experience in facilities or engineering environment with project coordination background
Experience working with Amazon or other large-scale client operations and understanding of corporate facility requirements
Knowledge of preventative maintenance best practices and scheduling for optimal facility performance
Familiarity with facilities management operations and work order systems including CMMS administration
Experience in narrative writing for leadership presentations and documentation with strong communication skills
Background in uniform procurement and employee resource management for comprehensive operational support

Estimated compensation for this position: $64,400.00 – $93,400.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate, and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
