Job Overview
The Senior User Experience Designer will be responsible for concepting product user interface design solutions for Surgical Robots that align with surgeons’ and surgical staff’s expectations and abilities, with a particular eye towards safety and ease of use. Responsibilities include maintaining and/or improving user experience, reducing usability risks for patients and surgical staff, improving usability workflows, and adhering to brand guidelines. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, or related design field with relevant or equivalent experience or known certificate program with related bachelor’s degree. Strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving, technical judgement, leadership, and interpersonal skills are required to communicate both written and verbally with a range of functions. Effectively visually present, communicate, socialize and workshop design vision, research needs, concepts as well as detailed designs both verbally and visually in Miro, and Figma as well as other Microsoft office products. A bonus is to be familiar with relevant quality regulations (21 CFR Part 820.30), human factors/usability engineering standards (IEC 62366-1, ANSI HE75), risk management (ISO 14971), and FDA guidance.
