About the VIZIO Engineering Team Our team operates at the forefront of Walmart’s digital transformation, building robust, distributed systems that support millions of users. We collaborate closely with product, UX, and business partners to deliver solutions that are reliable, future-proof, and aligned with Walmart’s strategic vision. As a senior leader, you’ll play a key role in driving technical excellence and innovation across our suite of applications.
Responsibilities
Architect and lead the design of complex, distributed systems and applications
Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineering teams
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate business needs into technical solutions
Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment
Drive system performance, scalability, and reliability improvements
Minimum Qualifications
Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Option 2: 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
2 years’ supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area.

Compensation and Benefits The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.
Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor’s degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are paid for by Walmart. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific plan or program terms.
