Job Overview: The HR Coordinator I will be a key member of the Employee Success (ES) team, dedicated to providing exceptional support and guidance to employees and managers. This role involves leveraging advanced HR tools and systems, such as Workday, to deliver a seamless employee experience. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a commitment to confidentiality, and a passion for improving HR processes. This position requires working onsite three days a week at 111 Monument Circle, Indianapolis, IN 46204, and adhering to Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
Responsibilities: Provide superior customer service to employees and managers through the Basecamp customer portal and other social channels. Maintain and update the knowledge base within Basecamp to ensure relevant and accurate self-service information for employees. Record and manage customer interactions using a case management tool, addressing inquiries related to benefits, time off, compensation, immigration, HR policies, and employee data. Develop expertise in Workday and assist employees and managers with self-service process inquiries. Maintain a thorough understanding of HR processes, programs, and policies to provide accurate assistance. Identify inefficiencies and inconsistencies in processes and collaborate on improvements to enhance the employee experience. Assist with User Acceptance Testing for system enhancements. Process corrections or transactions not handled through Employee or Manager Self-Service in Workday. Participate in projects aimed at modernizing and improving ES People Services processes. Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources or a centralized customer service environment preferred. Prior experience with Workday HCM or similar HRIS is highly desirable. Experience working with a Case Management system. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on data integrity and process improvement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to navigate and collaborate with employees through personal circumstances. Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all job responsibilities. Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities. Experience in an HR shared services organization for an established company is ideal.
