This is a unique opportunity for candidates who have an entrepreneurial spirit and the proven experience to build a system, a company, and an industry—all at the same time. In this role you will lead the power infrastructure engineering business unit end-to-end: strategy, design, P&L, standards, delivery, and operations across our multiple campuses. Responsibilities
Own the business line P&L: set the multi-year roadmap and annual operating plan (budget, headcount, EBITDA/ROIC targets); Set design and engineering authority and standards: one-lines, protection/controls philosophy, grounding and fault-duty management, ride-through/VAR/voltage plans, metering/EMS/SCADA and reliability engineering standards; Industrialize delivery: productize reference designs and vendor kits to compress schedule and $/MW; Develop the organization: develop and lead teams; manage EPCs/OEMs/testing & commissioning firms; Represent Lancium externally: executive interface with utilities/TSPs/TDSPs, major customers, and regulators. Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications: Proven engineering leadership, technical expertise and the ability to guide and manage a high performance team to meet tight schedules on large and complex energy infrastructure projects; Working knowledge of multiple electrical disciplines within an integrated program, including utility/grid studies, power supply for MEP and IT systems used in AI data center operations, substation design and operation, and power generation automation; A deep competency and understanding of electrical engineering ranging across medium voltage and high voltage systems; 20–25+ years of electrical power engineering leadership in large, complex project environments (multi-hundred-MW to multi-GW), with proven team leadership and EPC/OEM management skills and a proved track record of on-budget, compressed-timeline delivery; Four (4) year degree in electrical engineering, with extensive practical work experience in high-hundreds-MW electrical and electro-mechanical applications, extensive electrical construction and commissioning experience and an concentration in power engineering or an advanced degree and electrical PE qualification (or similar experience) strongly preferred; Comfort with P&L ownership and executive-level stakeholder engagement required.
