The Opportunity: In this role you will provide mentoring, leadership, and technical expertise for custom engineered equipment used in the design and construction of Floating LNG, On-Shore LNG Export, LNG Peak shaving, FPSO, or regasification projects.

Responsibilities

Select and implement designs for compressors, pumps, tanks, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, vaporizers, tanker loading arms, fired equipment, or other packaged equipment Evaluate, select, specify, and engineer equipment suitable for LNG and Floating LNG projects Prepare equipment cost estimating and manhours for FEED and Detailed Design phases Lead and coordinate meetings with internal disciplines, external consultants, clients, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors/fabricators globally Facilitate collaboration between US and India based design teams Prepare equipment data sheets and technical specifications for bid and purchase Perform bid clarifications/meetings with bidders and prepare technical bid evaluations/summaries for equipment Participate in client project meetings and equipment-team meetings Participate in design and model reviews, HAZOP reviews, and constructability reviews Develop construction sub-contracts for mechanical equipment and modularization Participate in on-site start-up and commissioning work as needed Attend pre-inspection meetings, inspections, and testing on fired equipment in vendor shops

Qualifications

Minimum of 11 years related work experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program or equivalent Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects where applicable Extensive technical expertise in specification and procurement of custom engineered equipment packages (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, fired heaters, etc.) for mid-stream process industries Experience executing projects from conceptual to detailed engineering, through startup and operations support Ability to read detailed project drawings and blueprints; AutoCAD proficiency for mechanical datasheets and drawings Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME, API, NFPA, TEMA, offshore classification bodies, NBIC, ASME Section VIII, API standards, NFPA, AWS, etc.) Experience with equipment inspection and condition engineering per API 510/571/579/653/573/936 and related standards Self-perform technical work while leading a team of about 15 engineers

Work Environment

Office environment with potential site tasks; occasional travel (10-25%), domestic and international Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after 90 days based on manager discretion and performance
