THE PURPOSE:
The Distribution Center Manager oversees, develops, and improves the tactical operations and performance of the Distribution Center related to the receipt and stocking of inbound purchase orders, replenishment of forward pick locations, efficient management of space, elimination of inventory “honey-combing”, picking, packing, and shipping of orders across our major channels, and other functions as required to improve the efficient and safe operation of distribution functions across the facility.
THE ROLE
Manages the various production teams to perform core functions safely and efficiently
Communicates findings and issues to management that fall outside of acceptable parameters
Meets performance-related goals through delegation and the management of others
Manages and executes the training and development of current TRLG employees to further their value to the organization by including cross-training in all major DC capacities
Trains and develops new and existing temporary staff to meet the DC’s goals for production, safety, and accuracy
Develops and reports quantitative reviews of quarterly staff performance in conjunction with other leadership team members
Ensures teams follow procedures as they relate to SOP and safety
Oversees the daily time and attendance of TRLG employees and temporary staff associates
Coordinates and manages a daily cycle counting process to ensure an accurate perpetual inventory.
Participates in the strategic development of future growth and operating plans
Daily verification and reconciliation of production
Participates in the creation of annual operating budgets and manages to meet or improve upon budgetary requirements
Tracks and maintains all shipping-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure productivity, quality, and service level goals are exceeded
Works additional shifts or overtime as may be required, and peak holiday schedules, which may include up to 21 continuous work days without time off

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
5+ years demonstrated supervisory experience in Distribution Center operations
Experience with Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, etc.
3+ years of Warehouse Management Software (WMS)
4+ years of Material Handling Technology
Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, and detail orientation
Strong communication and organizational skills set
English-speaking with bilingual preference
Salary Range: $100k - $115k
