Post-Production Designer (Photo and Video) Location: New York City Employment Type: Full Time Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented
Photo and Video Post-Production Designer
to join our creative team. This role requires a sharp visual eye, strong technical skills, and a refined sense of storytelling to elevate raw visuals into polished, compelling content. Youll be responsible for editing and retouching photography, color grading, video editing, and motion enhancements that align with our brands aesthetic and messaging. Responsibilities Photo Post-Production
Retouch, color correct, and manipulate high-resolution photography for digital, print, and social platforms. Apply consistent brand tone and visual style across all assets. Remove backgrounds, composite elements, and prepare images for final delivery. Video Post-Production
Edit raw video footage into polished deliverables for various platforms (e.g., web, social media, digital campaigns). Perform color grading and audio syncing/mixing. Add motion graphics, type animation, and visual effects as needed. Ensure all deliverables meet technical specs and deadlines. Creative Collaboration
Work closely with photographers, videographers, art directors, and marketing teams to ensure creative alignment. Implement feedback efficiently and meet revision deadlines with precision. Asset Management
Organize and archive media files, project files, and final outputs. Maintain an efficient workflow across multiple concurrent projects. Maintain organized systems for task management, file handoffs, and asset reviews.
Qualifications
Proven experience in photo retouching and video editing (portfolio required). Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects (DaVinci Resolve is a plus). Understanding of color theory, visual composition, and digital storytelling. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high-quality standards. Strong communication and feedback interpretation skills.
Preferred
Experience working with fashion, lifestyle, beauty, or luxury brands. Knowledge of motion design principles and animation.
