In this position, you will collaborate with both wholesale and retail customers to assess their needs, provide expert answers to their inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend tailored solutions. You will be responsible for promptly addressing any customer concerns, ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction, and maintaining a deep understanding of our product features. It's essential to uphold the quality and visual standards of our products and store while consistently achieving sales goals.
This role involves direct interaction with customers, which may include minors, as well as access to cash, various payment methods, electronic equipment, store merchandise, and more. To safeguard the integrity and safety of our operations and community, a review of criminal history is required for all candidates.
You will be expected to work at stores within a 10-mile radius of store #1884, located at: 329 Hempstead Tpke., West Hempstead, NY 11552.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional sales service. Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining needs and presenting suitable products and services. Build and maintain trusting relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Process sales transactions accurately according to policies and procedures. Achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Maintain organized work order files and precise formulas. Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed. Tint and mix products to meet customer specifications. Stock shelves and create visually appealing displays. Ensure cleanliness of store equipment. Load and unload delivery trucks as needed. Help with deliveries when required. Keep assigned areas well-stocked and presentable. Stay informed about the products offered and available options. Adhere to inventory control measures. Contribute ideas for improving sales performance. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Must be authorized to work in the country without sponsorship. A valid, unrestricted Driver's License is required. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without accommodation. Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without accommodation. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED preferred. Minimum one year experience in retail or customer service roles. Experience with paint and related products is a plus. Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment. Ability to communicate in multiple languages is appreciated. Fluency in Spanish is a preferred skill.
