More Air Mechanical Service Inc Co is seeking a motivated HVAC Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the successful execution of HVAC and mechanical construction projects in the Metro New York City area. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in HVAC or mechanical construction who is eager to grow into a full Project Manager position. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with senior project managers, helping with estimating, scheduling, document management, and field coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification. Assist senior project managers in planning, scheduling, and coordinating HVAC/mechanical projects. Prepare, track, and manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders. Perform material take-offs and support estimating efforts for new projects. Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and contracts. Support project budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting. Help coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to ensure project execution. Conduct site visits as needed to monitor progress, safety, and quality. Assist with project closeout, including inspections, documentation, and client handover. Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in HVAC, piping, or mechanical construction (project support, estimating, scheduling, or coordination). Strong technical foundation in mechanical systems and construction practices. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred) OR equivalent experience. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with project management or estimating software is a plus. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred. Benefits
