A leading global automotive supplier is seeking a
Senior Sales Director
to drive sales growth and customer engagement across key OEM accounts. This executive role combines strategy, business development, and team leadership, with a focus on expanding relationships with
Stellantis
and
Ford . The successful candidate will have a proven ability to win new business, develop strong customer partnerships, and lead high-performing teams. Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Development:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for assigned OEMs and markets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market trend analysis and competitor insights. Collaborate with internal functions to tailor solutions that align with customer needs. Customer Relationships:
Build and maintain senior-level relationships with OEM decision makers. Serve as a trusted advisor, aligning solutions with customer objectives. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty. Lead and mentor a regional sales team, setting goals and driving accountability. Oversee hiring, coaching, and professional development of team members. Foster a results-oriented and collaborative team culture. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Define and track KPIs to measure sales effectiveness. Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Prepare and deliver regular reports to senior leadership. Market Analysis & Business Development:
Conduct research to identify growth opportunities inside and outside traditional automotive business. Provide competitive intelligence to strengthen market position. Negotiation & Proposal Management:
Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and program awards. Manage the quotation process to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Partner cross-functionally with engineering, operations, product development, and finance. Balance commercial and technical priorities to meet customer and business needs. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required; MBA preferred. Experience:
12–15 years of progressive sales leadership in the automotive industry, ideally in interiors and/or exteriors. Demonstrated success with OEM relationships, specifically Stellantis (required) and Ford (plus). Proven track record of winning new business and delivering revenue growth. Skills:
Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities; analytical, organized, and detail-oriented; technical knowledge of automotive products and manufacturing processes; proficiency with CRM systems and modern sales tools. Seniority level:
