ONE Sotheby’s International Realty’s Development Division is hiring a Director of Sales to lead the sales program at one or several new developments, depending on the candidate’s capabilities. The Director of Sales reports to the EVP of New Development Sales in the relevant geographic territory. Responsibilities include onboarding and managing sales agents, managing the CRM, reporting sales gallery traffic daily/weekly/monthly, presenting purchase offers, and overseeing the contract signing to closing process with purchasers; running weekly developer sales meetings; collaborating with marketing to create cohesive sales and marketing programs; and designing, developing, and executing strategies to improve overall sales performance.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Monitors, analyzes, and reports on sales and market trends
Develops and executes strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth for luxury construction projects
Guides the site construction opening and closing of sales centers and model units
Leads and mentors a successful sales team
Recruits, coaches, and develops a high-performance team
Ensures the purchase/sale process from point of sale to closing is effectively managed by the sales team
Leads the sales process from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and managing client relationships
Coordinates with internal departments to maintain adequate inventory and ensure pricing remains fair, realistic, and profitable
Ensures the sales center presentation and marketing appeal are flawless
Ensures services align with the developer’s and ONE Sotheby’s brand values (lifestyle, innovation, design, sustainability, quality, value)
Achieves targets for revenue, profitability, and sales growth
Monitors opportunities to adjust prices to maximize profit and sell-through
Maintains consistent daily communication with all external parties involved in each transaction
Provides regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue projections to senior management
Collaborates with EVP of Sales, Marketing Director, Research, and VP of Operations to develop and implement complex sales and marketing strategies and inventory controls
Represents the company at industry events, networking functions, and trade shows to promote the brand
Manages third-party sales tools including MLS and CRM systems
Stays informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities
Other duties as requested by management.
Requirements
Strong real estate industry experience with sales leadership; experience in New Development/New Home Sales preferred
Active Florida Real Estate license required
Proven ability to communicate sales strategies and presentations across multiple channels and with diverse clients
Strong leadership and mentoring mindset; ability to create a healthy on-site team culture and a track record of execution and results
Excellent interpersonal communication skills (bilingual: English/Spanish; multilingual abilities preferred but not required)
Entrepreneurial and structured thinker/doer
Prepare to share sales success stories and examples of handling significant situations differently in an interview
