The incoming Chair will lead a department with disciplinary expertise that catalyzes societal progress and economic growth. As the chief administrator for the Department of Computer Science, the Chair will drive a forward-thinking vision aligned with Emory’s larger aspirations for computing, spearhead faculty recruitment and retention in a competitive landscape, foster a culture of high-quality scholarship, and prepare students to be innovative leaders in the fast-evolving computing sector.
