A nationally recognized law firm with strong roots in the Midwest is seeking a Patent Prosecution Attorney to join its expanding Intellectual Property team. With multiple offices and a strong reputation in the electronics and high-tech sectors, this opportunity offers early client access, extensive mentoring, and the chance to work closely with powerhouse companies. Key Responsibilities

Manage U.S. patent prosecution matters for a range of clients in the electronics and tech sectors Collaborate with attorneys and technical specialists to develop customized patent strategies Conduct patentability, infringement, and freedom-to-operate analyses Draft, revise, and prosecute patent applications before the USPTO Work closely with inventors and in-house counsel at Fortune 500 companies Qualifications

1–5 years of experience in patent prosecution Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (required) J.D. from an accredited law school Admission to a state bar and preferred admittance to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Strong analytical and legal writing skills Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment This large firm operates its satellite offices with the intimacy of a boutique, promoting genuine work-life balance without sacrificing sophistication. The base pay range for this position is $190,000.00/yr - $265,000.00/yr.
