Lunch, Dinner, or Lounge Server
to join the TJ's Restaurant team. This role is responsible for delivering attentive, personalized service during the lunch period, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for every guest. The ideal candidate will be friendly, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
Key Requirements Availability : Must be available to work Lunch, Dinner, or Lounge shifts any day of the week, including weekends and holidays as needed. Experience : Prior experience as a server in a full-service restaurant is strongly preferred. Skills : Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, excellent communication skills, and a professional demeanor. Basic Functions & Scope
Serve guests in accordance with established service standards. Anticipate guest needs and ensure a polished, welcoming dining experience. Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth and efficient service flow. Duties & Responsibilities
Greet guests promptly, present menus, and answer questions about offerings. Accurately take and enter food & beverage orders into the POS system. Serve food and drinks with attention to presentation, timing, and guest satisfaction. Monitor tables and respond to guest requests with a sense of urgency and professionalism. Ensure tables are properly cleared, reset, and ready for incoming guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas throughout the shift. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Complete all opening and closing side work as assigned. Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure coordinated service. Qualifications
A professional appearance and demeanor. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a server in a fine dining environment. Knowledge of food & wine pairings and the ability to make thoughtful recommendations. Warm, personable approach and a genuine passion for hospitality. Ability to multi-task and remain composed in a high-volume setting. Must be able to stand & walk for long periods and lift moderate weights as needed. Must be punctual, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
