Position Summary The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing investment accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, and supporting the implementation of new accounting standards and processes. This role supervises a team of accounting professionals and reports to the Accounting Director. Key Accountabilities

Financial Reporting & Oversight

Monitor and review all investment accounting schedules and deliverables. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS). Oversee the preparation and review of journal entries and reconciliations related to investments. Support the timely submission of audit requests and regulatory filings. Team Leadership & Collaboration

Supervise and provide guidance to accounting supervisors and staff. Foster collaboration across departments to ensure accurate and efficient processes. Participate in the hiring, training, and development of team members. Process Improvement & Controls

Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Implement and maintain internal controls over investment accounting activities. Support the integration of new systems and technologies (e.g., ERP platforms). Analysis & Reporting

Analyze investment results and variances, providing insights to management. Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as requested. Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor performance. Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance 5+ years of relevant accounting experience Prior supervisory or management experience Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Why You Want to Work Here
