Job Responsibilities
Testing (Technical): Designs, develops, and maintains automation systems and tools (API testing, Tosca, Postman, etc) to be used by development and test engineers.
Analyzes code coverage using industry standard tools such as SonarQube.
Is responsible for automated tests integration into the Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
Develops and authors test cases for unit, functional, performance, scalability, and adaptability testing (where applicable).
Manages and grooms the automated and manual test suites regularly to ensure accurate balance between coverage and fast feedback cycles.
Works with IT partner teams to provide test data by request, creation or modification for all phases of the delivery process via a repeatable and automated process.
Grows and maintains technical skills and expertise through continuing education and training.
Practice Leadership, Modeling and Coaching
Provides internal training on relevant skills and tools that support Continuous Testing.
Contributes to Test Community of Practice to evolve testing practices, quality standards and tools.
Leads defect management.
Collaborates with external teams on test strategy and ensures alignment to test execution.
Influences and drives quality across teams, subject areas, and the organization.
Testing (Requirements Gathering)
Ensures requirements and/or user stories are testable.
Clarifies any ambiguity with requirements, user stories, design and other artifacts produced as part of the product lifecycle.
Provides estimates for user stories and tasks.
Directs testability of requirements and/or user stories.
Leads and provides guidance to all test activities.
Testing QA
Closely coordinates with both Dev and Ops regarding testing practices and ensuring quality thresholds are met.
Contributes in Design and Design reviews.
Contributes in code review.
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field or the foreign equivalent, and 5 years of progressively responsible postbaccalaureate relevant work experience. (Required)
Master's/Advanced Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field or the foreign equivalent, and 3 years of relevant work experience. (Preferred)
4-7 years Professional experience using 3 or more development languages (e.g., C#, Java, JavaScript, etc.). Required
4-7 years Professional experience using 3 or more automation tools (e.g., Tosca, Selenium, TestNG, Appium, Sauce Labs, Rest Assured, Postman, Cucumber, Jasmine, Protractor, etc.) in conjunction with API testing. Required
4-7 years Professional experience with various testing methodologies and strategies: Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, etc. Required
4-7 years Professional experience using CA Service Virtualization or equivalent. Required
4-7 years Professional experience using issue-tracking software and agile project management systems. Required
4-7 years Professional experience crafting and developing applications on Unix or Windows environment, mobile platforms (Android or iOS) or designing complex multi-tiered applications. Required

Base Pay Range: $89,400 - $161,300
Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The actual pay will be based on location, qualifications, and experience.
