Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical
Senior Staff Accountant
to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for leading key components of the month-end close process, preparing and analyzing financial statements, performing complex account reconciliations, and supporting various internal and external reporting requirements. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to interpret and present financial data clearly and accurately. Responsibilities
Lead and manage components of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance reports, and supporting schedules Perform and review complex account reconciliations (e.g., accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, intercompany, etc.) Ensure all journal entries are properly supported and comply with GAAP Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial data Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes as needed Analyze financial trends and provide insights to management for decision-making Support internal and external audits by providing timely and accurate documentation Continuously identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities Maintain and update accounting procedures and internal controls Compensation
$90,000 - $110,000 a year
