Position Summary Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine R&D is recruiting for an Associate Director, Project Management Capabilities. This position is a hybrid role and can be located in Titusville, NJ; Raritan, NJ; or Spring House, PA.

Responsibilities

Manage and support the PM Advisory Panel, ensuring topics are relevant and adequately prepared. Drive meaningful documentation, post-minute summaries, and follow up on actions. Act as Project Manager for PM Initiatives by tracking and identifying risks to milestone deliverables.

Provide connection to the J&J IM R&D SPO Learning team.

Liaison for PM contacts to drive accountability and support various functional Communities of Practice (COPs).

Ensure and drive consistency and standardization with project management definitions.

Contribute to continuous improvement of project management capabilities and processes; provide input into the operating model design.

Proactively build and maintain internal and external relationships that support the PM Operating Model.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; scientific or business discipline preferred. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum 8 years of pharmaceutical company or CRO experience.

Expertise in drug development, financial operations, and strategic planning.

Project management experience required; PMP certification preferred.

Experience leading diverse teams in direct and matrixed environments preferred.

Experience with information systems (e.g., Planisware, SAP/SEM, CTMS, Ariba, Power BI) highly preferred.

Strong leadership, communication, analytical, planning, and organizational skills; results-driven with ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Compensation & Benefits The anticipated base pay range for U.S. locations is $137,000 to $235,750. The company offers performance-based compensation, eligibility for annual bonuses, and a range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and retirement plans. Time off includes Vacation, Sick time, Holidays, and Work, Personal and Family Time, with variations by location.
