Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine R&D is recruiting for an Associate Director, Project Management Capabilities. This position is a hybrid role and can be located in Titusville, NJ; Raritan, NJ; or Spring House, PA. The Associate Director, Project Management (PM) Capabilities, will report to the Director, PM Capabilities and will serve as a point of contact for managing and supporting the Project Management Advisory Panel. Principal Responsibilities
Manage and support the PM Advisory Panel, ensuring the topics are relevant and adequately prepared. Provide connection to the J&J IM R&D SPO R&D Learning team. Liaison for the PM contacts to drive accountability and support various functional Communities of Practice (COPs). Ensure and drive consistency and standardization with project management definitions. Continuous improvement to our project management capabilities and processes and providing input into the design of the operating model. Proactively build and maintain internal (across Johnson & Johnson) and external relationships that support the PM Operating Model. Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a scientific or business discipline. Master’s degree preferred. A minimum of 8 years of experience with a pharmaceutical company or Contract Research Organization (CRO) is required. Expertise in the areas of drug development, financial operations, and strategic planning is required. Project management experience is required. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. Experience leading diverse teams in a direct and matrixed environment is preferred. Experience with information systems (e.g., Planisware, SAP/SEM, CTMS, Ariba, Power BI)) is highly preferred. Solid understanding of the financial aspects of clinical operations is highly preferred. Effective leadership skills, with the ability to cultivate team productivity and cohesiveness, required. Must have excellent communication skills. Must have strong analytical and conceptual skills. Must have strong planning and organizational skills with a focus on results. Must be results and performance driven with the ability to lead and deliver in a complex environment. What We Offer
The anticipated base pay range for U.S. locations is $137,000 to $235,750. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year. Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year.
