HealthRIGHT 360 gives hope, builds health, and changes lives for people in need by providing comprehensive, integrated, compassionate care that includes primary medical care, mental health services, and substance use disorder treatment. HealthRIGHT 360 offers residential treatment services designed to serve individuals and families with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our program helps clients address addiction and related issues, increase skills, manage stressors, connect to supportive service, and build a foundation for lasting recovery. Residential programs run 24/7 and include individual and group therapy, family therapy, individualized case management, treatment planning, drug and alcohol counseling, medication support services, and crisis intervention. This is a union eligible position. This is an On Call position: shift hours and days vary as needed. The RSD promotes the wellness and recovery of individuals with substance use and related disorders. Residential step-down programs are sub-acute, short-term residential facilities that provide coaching and support in a 24-hour staffed, open home-like environment. RSD provides a temporary, drug- and alcohol-free environment to residents that are actively engaged in outpatient services for medically necessary SUD treatment provided to the client off-site. The goal is for the residents to find employment, housing and become self-sufficient while continuing to work on their recovery. Responsibilities
Recovery Coach responsibilities: Assess client needs and strengths in support of health and recovery. Provide individual coaching with program-specific requirements and case management to assist clients in navigating systems of care and maintaining a supportive recovery environment. Maintain and assess the safety and security of the program and its residents through ongoing house runs and a welcoming environment. Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and perform crisis intervention as needed. Ensure the facility environment is safe and welcoming. Key Responsibilities Individual Responsibilities: provides direct services such as intakes, assessment, crisis intervention, and case management as needed. Retention and completion of clients; facilitate individual coaching sessions with each caseload client. Provide learning experience opportunities and support clients in meeting long-term recovery goals. Link clients to internal and external resources based on recovery needs and follow up on progress. Perform house runs to ensure safety and security of the facility. Perform crisis intervention and communicate with the treatment team as unforeseen situations arise. Document client updates and incidents in the facility log daily; perform CPR and First Aid including administering Narcan as needed; work weekends and holidays as needed. Setting Responsibilities: Facilitate community meetings and ensure compliance with facility rules, serve as Health & Safety Representative including monthly safety trainings, emergency drills, maintain safety supplies, update emergency response plan, and attend safety meetings. Document all client updates and facility incidents daily in the facility log. Performs periodic house runs to maintain safety and security of the facility. When assigned the DOT, document and ensure client medications are securely stored and properly accounted for; hold facility keys and floater cellular phones. Accompany clients to offsite appointments related to their recovery as needed. Attend all required trainings and meetings as assigned by facility manager. Plan and facilitate client celebrations and special events. Recovery Coaches must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed. Documentation Responsibilities: Collaborate with each client and other resources to develop transition plans, progress notes, and updates in support of health and recovery needs. Document in all encounters and complete discharge paperwork and required agency assessments in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records by data entry in various electronic systems for all clients in accordance with HealthRIGHT 360 guidelines. Complete accountability reports weekly and collaborate with treatment providers to assist clients in achieving program completion. And other duties as assigned. Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred. First Aid and CPR certified within 30 days of employment. Valid California Driver’s License and automobile insurance. Experience working with diverse populations, specifically with issues of substance abuse, mental health, criminal background, and other barriers to economic self-sufficiency. Knowledge of gender-responsive, trauma-informed, and co-occurring treatment. Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office and internet applications. Self-motivated, dependable, creative, and proactive; ability to work independently and in a team. Ability to enter data into electronic systems while maintaining data integrity and accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Preferred: Drug and Alcohol registration or certification recognized by Department of Health Care Services (DHCS). Four years of experience providing behavioral health services, preferably for A/PI community. Must complete background check and livescan clearance. We will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. Pay Type: Hourly Hiring Min Rate: 26.21 USD Hiring Max Rate: 28.39 USD
