Trillium Professional is now seeking a Human Resources Administrator in Camarillo!
The Human Resources Administrator will provide essential support to the HR department, focusing on administrative tasks, compliance, recruitment coordination, onboarding, and ensuring adherence to California labor laws and company policies. This role is critical in maintaining accurate HR records, supporting day-to-day operations, and ensuring positive employee experience from hire to exit.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Under general supervision, you must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to: • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, HR databases, and HRIS systems. • Assist in preparing HR-related documents including employment agreements, policy acknowledgments, and compliance notices. • Ensure HR processes align with California labor laws, including wage and hour laws, required postings, recordkeeping, leaves of absence, and employee classification. • Generate reports on HR metrics and compliance requirements as requested. • Support HR audits and maintain documentation for compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. • Assist in implementing and updating policies and procedures in line with legal changes. • Monitor compliance with mandatory training (e.g., harassment prevention, safety, etc.). • Support workplace investigations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. • Post job openings on internal and external job boards. • Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings to identify qualified applicants. • Coordinate interview scheduling and communications with candidates and hiring managers. • Assist with pre-employment processes, including background checks, references, and offer letters. • Prepare and facilitate new hire onboarding, including new hire paperwork, orientation sessions, and benefits enrollment. • Serve as the first point of contact for general HR inquiries. • Provide information and guidance to employees on HR policies and procedures. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, or in related field or equivalent required with 2-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business Administration, or in a related field, highly desired. • Must have knowledge of California labor laws, and HR compliance. • PHR or SCP highly desired. • Experience in a manufacturing environment highly desired. • Other Abilities: Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite. Must have strong knowledge in California labor and employment law. Must be able to properly document and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information. Must have knowledge to apply general use of databases/spreadsheets. Must be proficient with HRIS data management and reporting. Must be able to manage and prioritize workflow. Must have strong knowledge with HR audits and reporting. Must have experience with recruitment coordinating and onboarding.
