Position Purpose:
As a Customer Service Cashier, you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring that our customers receive speedy, friendly, and precise service. You'll handle Checkout and Return transactions, while also overseeing and maintaining the Self-Checkout area.
Your proactive attitude will help you gain product and project knowledge that will allow you to offer valuable information to customers and identify additional selling opportunities. You'll adhere to all policies and procedures to minimize shrinkage.
The role of a Head Cashier includes supporting Cashiers by conducting price checks, approving Point of Sale transactions, and managing markdowns across various service areas, including Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.
In addition, you will address customer issues as the first level of escalation and play a key role in supervising, coaching, and training Front End Associates. This includes participating in the onboarding process for new Cashiers and utilizing available tools to mentor and enhance the skills of your fellow Cashiers.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of Cashier experience.
