Senior Brand Strategist, Amazon Devices Brand Studio

Join Amazon as a Senior Brand Strategist in the Devices and Services Brand Studio. We are looking for a dynamic, multifaceted brand builder and storyteller to craft and drive alignment on strategic elements of brand strategy, including brand positioning, brand architecture, creative strategy, and brand identity. This role will steward strategy through the creative processes – from product concept and UX considerations through marketing and engagement campaigns – collaborating across teams to build cohesive storytelling that positively shifts perceptions, influences desired customer behaviors, and grows our brands and businesses. The Senior Brand Strategist is a prophetic thinker who is deeply engaged with cultural and tech industry trends, and intersects their knowledge and high judgement with customer and business insights. They work closely with teammates and partners across Naming Strategy, Customer Insights, Brand Design, Content Strategy, Creative Program Management, Brand Marketing, Go-to-Market, Product Management, UX and Industrial Design, as well as with brand and business stakeholders in other parts of Amazon. Key Responsibilities: Drive cultural research and insights, presenting findings in compelling ways across organizational levels Craft brand architecture strategies Lead collaborative workshops with cross-functional partners to integrate customer insights, cultural trends, and business objectives Create and implement brand positioning frameworks that shape product development, marketing, and customer experience Author strategic briefs ranging from high-level brand direction to specific campaign tactics Partner with Insights teams to develop brand health metrics, design targeted research studies, and transform findings into actionable innovation strategies Collaborate with Content Strategy to develop cohesive brand storytelling across the customer journey Champion strategic thinking through knowledge sharing and documentation of brand insights Basic Qualifications: Experience in marketing or marketing research Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements Experience communicating results to senior leadership Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business or equivalent Experience creating and managing complex, cross-team project plans 6+ years experience defining and executing brand strategies for multiple top global brands Preferred Qualifications: Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting Brand strategy experience in consumer electronics, technology, or entertainment industries Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
