National Field Sales Director, US Medical
Essity is seeking a National Field Sales Director, US Medical. This role can be located anywhere in the continental United States and requires an average travel of 60%. The position focuses on driving profitable growth in wound care and compression therapy and advancing the capabilities of the sales organization to achieve business targets. Overview
As the National Field Sales Director, US Medical, you will lead field sales efforts within the Medical Solutions portfolio, align with corporate goals, manage a sales team, and ensure execution of strategic plans. You will collaborate with home office and field teams to remove barriers, drive accountability, and optimize performance. What You Will Do
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals and achieve regional sales quotas. Direct sales forecasting activities, hold the team accountable to forecast via CRM, and set performance goals accordingly. Motivate, lead, and inspire field sales personnel; provide training, coaching, and regular field visits to develop clinical and sales competencies. Remove barriers to success within scope; ensure company policies are followed and act as a conduit for information to the home office. Drive to exceed targets for sales, expense controls, and account penetration; develop robust quarterly strategic business plans including new opportunities. Monitor, guide, and coach the sales team to achieve targets, improve selling skills, and build sustainable customer relationships. Identify customer, competitor, and regional issues and communicate to appropriate personnel; attend trade shows and sales meetings as needed. Model and monitor conformance to company ethical standards of conduct. Who You Are
Minimum of 10 years medical sales experience Minimum of 5 years of successful people management experience Bachelor’s degree required Strong record of hiring top talent and developing sales representatives and managers Experience developing successful regional business plans inclusive of budgets Strong goal setting and implementation skills with a track record of accomplishments Proficiency in Windows, MS Office and sales tracking/database systems; experience with CRM automation Excellent communication, written and verbal skills Strong presentation creation and delivery skills Excellent interpersonal skills with diverse groups What We Can Offer You
