Project Manager - Rail & Transit Engineering HDR seeks a highly motivated project manager to work in the transit market sector. This position will provide project management and technical services to transit clients in Northern California. The ideal candidate will have experience working with transit agencies in California, such as Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority (CCJPA), and Caltrain. The successful candidate shall demonstrate knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local standards and requirements and has an understanding of project delivery processes for various phases of project development. In the role of Project Manager, we'll count on you to: Manage capital program engineering design and construction projects or programs in assigned areas from conceptual design through completion. Perform construction project management duties; prepares cost estimates; prepares and monitors project schedules and budgets; conducts field inspections as required; monitors work in progress. Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently. Implement, monitor, and support company policy. Work with multidiscipline teams and manage technical personnel. Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications PMP certification. Understanding of Traction power systems for various Transit agencies. Ability to handle multiple assignments. Ability to interact with various design teams and have excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 10 years related experience. A minimum 5 years project management experience. Professional Engineer (PE) license. MS Office and MS Project experience. Demonstrated leadership, business development, and strategic planning skills.
